I think this happened: Meteora was sucking the essence of Princesses for years to preserve her own youth, then eating the souls of the villagers, wildlife, etc to gain power (this is what I think). If you're interested I have a theory, hear me out: Star said she was 'giving her power to Meteora', then Star was pretty much out of juice after that. Hi Matty, really glad to see your review of this *epic* season finale! I really think Star will meet Eclipsa again in Season 4 but they'll still be on great terms. Which is great because the S3 version always infuriated me. But Star's going to get back to Blissninnydom to get a fresh batch of warm buttery Magic. Is it because she rejected Blissninnydom last time? So many mysteries, and most of them ain't never gonna be addressed let alone answered, we know that from Toffee. Anyway, continuing the blatant religious overtones, I can see why Moon was rejected from Blissninnydom, since she brought "evil" to it, but.why Star? Godicorn was so excited to keep her there last time. Okay, that's really evil TAKE YOUR GOT DAMN HANDS OFFA MAI WAIFU. Star tracked Moon down following the dark stream representing her "evil" stains being washed away in The Magic (and apparently generating a poor li'l scared dark unicorn foal as the show continues the whole debate over what's really evil). I think Moon's okay (or will be, once she's brought back from Blissninnydom) and in fact better than ever.
